Who are we and why do we do what we do?

in 2003 The Pasqua Family founded My Child’s Hand. Their daughter, Christie, was diagnosed with Leukemia in 1992, at just five years old. They were fortunate to have the means necessary to take care of everything they needed, and even more fortunate that Christie made a full recovery. My Child's Hand began as a way to pay it forward.

Now, Christie’s son Will is coping with severe allergies that have resulted in numerous hospital visits due to anaphylaxis reactions, starting as early as when he was 14 months old. It is a challenge to keep him safe and educate those around him about his needs. We want to change that. We are our children's advocates until they can advocate for themselves, we must speak on their behalf and educate those around them to keep everyone safe and happy.
